This piece is supposed to symbolize judgment. The white guy is judging the black guy upon the stereotypes laced upon him, or possibly the picture frame that says "faget" but as he thinks it he also thanks the white man acknowledging his prejudice. I used black, white and Gary to emphasize the darkness of this piece and the Gold to make the focal point. I used black paint and various thickness of black paint wash and used the white background as positive space. I wanted to show texture in this piece as well as a blocky painting style. Overall, I think this is a good piece, and I don't think I would do anything different.
